A.C. Electromagnetic brakes
Brakes are suitable for single phase A.C. supply upto 440 V and are available for a wide range of Drum sizes. 100 mm to 375 mm dia.
These brakes are available with rated torque ranging from 130 kg. cms, for the smallest brake (100 mm dia drum), upto 6900 kg. cms. (375 mm drum dia)
Construction:
Base & Brakes are cast iron high grade, shoes are self – aligned, easy removable with fabric lining fixed with aluminum rivits, magnet solenoid type with laminated magnetic circuit having pole faces to ensure quiet operation.
Operation:
Compression spring provide the necessary working pressure to apply the brake, release being effected by a single phase electromagnet. A hand release lever is fitted to the lock brake in thee “off” position when required
